There is a reason why there are bold signs on highways urging people not to drive when drunk. There is nothing wrong with having a bit of fun, but it should not put your life and other people’s lives at risk. Getting drunk and driving is one of those activities that will endanger your life and the lives of innocent passersby or drivers.
An EMT on Reddit shares how they have seen so many emergency cases caused by drunk drivers. These accidents involve fathers, mothers, newlyweds, and even babies. However, it is gladdening to see that cops in the United States take DUI very seriously and will usually immediately arrest drunk drivers.
