Touching Melted Plastic
Touching melted plastic has to be one of the most painful things in the world. It is almost similar to sticking your hands into a fire. Melted plastic does not only burn your hands; it sticks to them, allowing the pain to linger a bit longer. People often pick up melted plastic because, unlike iron, we don’t usually expect it to be very hot.

Unfortunately, a Reddit user had a horrible experience touching melted plastic and listed it amongst the mistakes he won’t be making again. Touching melted plastic can cause anything from mild burns to severe burns. Your best bet is to wait for the plastic to cool and then use a knife or scraper to get it off the surface.
