They bought a door that was too small for the opening
There is a saying in the woodworking community that goes, “measure twice, cut once.” The phrase alludes to the fact that making absolutely sure the wood piece is the adequate size for what you are building will save you a lot of work. Too bad this person was not aware of this fact.
They did not even measure the opening to make sure the door they bought was the right size. We wonder what is worse, a door that is too small or one that is too large. In reality, both are equally useless since they will not shut properly. Measuring might sound like a pain, but you will regret not doing it.
