This house’s smoke detector caught on fire
Many countries have regulations that require houses to have smoke detectors. Although they may sometimes be annoying, the truth is that they do serve an important purpose in keeping people safe from fires. That said, this building’s detector did not seem to be working properly.
On the contrary, it seems to have burst into flames itself. This is terribly ironic. Do you think it was able to detect the smoke it was producing, or did it cease functioning completely? Either way, it does not seem to have served the purpose it was designed for.
