Finding a delicate yet appealing balance between form and function is the essence of good design. Though a lot depends on what you are trying to accomplish, you should always try to keep your designs basic so that they are both functional and appealing. However, some people hurl the rulebook out the window into the dumpster. Even if you should avoid terrible house interior designs in social situations, you cannot deny that they can be entertaining, as long as we are not talking about your house. From superfluous shower drains to carpeted bathroom walls, you will be scratching your head, wondering what these interior designers were thinking. At the very least, you can giggle while being grateful that this is not your house.
This drain will only be helpful when the shower is flooding
The last time we checked, the drain was meant to be in a spot where water can flow down. Since it is directly next to the door, all of the water will overflow the other room. They must have requested that the contractor do something to keep them alert.
What did they even want to achieve by raising the drain? Were they hoping that the water would just stroll up one step to the drain? At least, they will never have to deal with a clogged drain. But you definitely do not want to squander water.
