Joan Jett is an American rock singer, composer, musician, songwriter, actress, and record producer. She is famously known as the lead for her band, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Her career peaked in her teens when she founded an all-girls punk-pop band called ‘The Runways.’ The band became even more famous when their single “Cherry Bomb” topped the charts. Its success paved the way for her solo career in the late ’70s.
Joan is also an animal rights activist and a devout feminist. She was even inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Joan’s official Barbie is part of the ‘Ladies of the 80s’ collection and is an exact look-alike of the rockstar.
