Yara Shahidi, the Grown-ish star, has indeed grown! Her Barbie was released to celebrate National Voter Registration Day. This day emphasizes the significance of registering to vote and lets young women know that they can be involved in issues that influence their future no matter how old they are.
Barbie made Yara Shahidi’s doll as part of the brand’s “Shero” collection. Yara and her mom worked with Mattel to create this doll so that every single detail was accurately depicted. Her skin tone, hair texture, and even her iconic limited edition “Vote” T-shirt was recreated beautifully. Barbie is for everyone!
