Reese Witherspoon is an American actress starring in many movies, including the timelessly popular film “Legally Blonde.” If Barbie were human, Reese would have been her twin. She has the signature blond hair and features to match; no wonder she took an interest in a prospected movie detailing the life of Ruth Handler and the story behind the creation of Barbie dolls.
Reese’s Barbie is replicated after her character in “Legally Blonde 2,” where she plays Elle Woods, a young blonde who is trying to make her voice heard by fighting for animal rights in Washington, D.C.. She seeks to break the stereotypes against blondes. This is so inspiring because Barbie dolls had specific beauty standards, but in Mattel’s new Barbie campaign, they have shown that Barbie isn’t only blonde and slim, she can be any shape or height and can be anyone or anything she wants to be.
