It took doctors years to confirm their seizures were real
We may never know what brings people to fake seizures or other medical emergencies. What we do know is that there must be a way of differentiating the actors from those who genuinely have a health issue. It cannot have taken this person twenty-eight years to get an answer.
It is unacceptable for people with serious issues to go untreated simply because a professional chooses not to believe them. Fortunately for this person, they were revived after their heart stopped, but surely there are many who cannot say the same.
