These pencils won’t be sharpened perfectly
When sharpening a pencil, it should look pretty smooth. This task leaves people with a wonderful sense of satisfaction. However, there are some pencils that, no matter how much work goes into sharpening their edges, they just look awful. This might be the case in the following image.
These two, for example, seem to be as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike. Consider someone who desperately needs a pencil to jot down something important. They get their hands on these two and cannot do anything with them except split them in half.
