These Imperfections Might Be A Nightmare For Perfectionists

These stairs seem to be disappearing into a pillar

Stairs have a pretty simple concept. They are just a consistent pathway that takes the user from point A to point B, usually up or down. Since the whole idea is not really rocket science, the design does not necessarily have to be overly complicated. However, the next example proves that Avril Lavinge, the Canadian singer, was right: some people make things complicated.

Probably, this designer was either on another planet or simply did not care to figure out a way out of a difficult problem. Look at how they decided to rip the stair, including the banister, through a pillar. This begs us to question whether the pillar came after the stairwell or before the stairwell.
