Someone engraved the wrong side of a pencil
No one likes it when, in the midst of trying to finish a project, one minor, annoying mistake appears at the end. When this happens, it’s best to just move on and fish the task at hand. One little detail that’s out of sync should not matter. Most likely, others won’t notice it anyway.
This box of pencils is an excellent example of a printing machine gone haywire, and whoever was in charge of packaging them decided not to replace the erroneously labeled pencil with a new one. They only had one job, but they failed miserably. This scenario would undoubtedly bother a perfectionist.
