Some people are only interested in and looking for partners who have material wealth. In fact, some consider money as their language of love. These types of people may be considered shallow, especially if they won’t consider dating anyone who isn’t willing to spend money on them.
There is a stereotype that only women can be gold diggers, but there are also men who go after rich women and take as much as they can before jumping onto the next victim. Such people who are only interested in money want to buy things to show off to others and live “la vida local.” They completely disregard genuine emotions or affections.
