The Manipulative Date
We’ve all known someone who is somehow always the victim, even when we know that they are wrong. Yes, humans always try to protect their self-interests, but it becomes completely narcissistic when they refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoings and make amends.
Being in a relationship with a manipulative person is draining because they make us start to have doubts about ourselves and how certain events played out, even when we were there and know what happened. Still, they may reduce us to tears and play the blame game; their accusations always end with us being the ones to apologize even when we know we are right. This is the victim mindset and no matter what we do, we’ll never win against someone who thinks like this.
