The Recurrent Liar
We all remember the movie Pinocchio. It’s cute as a cartoon, but there’s nothing entertaining about dating someone who lies all the time. Pinocchio was just a gullible kid, but there’s no excuse for a grown adult to repeatedly lie, even when caught red-handed.
It must be exhausting to be a pathological liar. One lie always leads to more lies to cover up the initial ones, until there is a web of lies. Sometimes, it’s easier to just opt for the truth. And dating a liar would be just as exhausting, never knowing but always guessing what is the truth and what is a lie.
