Excessive Makeup
Online and offline magazine photos and social media posts all post pictures of women who look a little too perfect. Most of them are wearing excessive makeup that enhances their features a little too well. While they do look good, this standard is impossible to reach for most onlookers.
Most regular people do not factor in the perfect lighting, the quality of makeup used, the filters, and edits. They then try to imitate this same style in real life or expect their dates to look like the women seen in the media. But unlike with social media filters, in real life, people’s pores show. Makeup melts into women’s skin after some time and starts to have some “shine” to it. So, when preparing for dates, women should apply only some light makeup, and men should not expect to see perfect-looking dates.
