Imagine being ready for summer with your swimsuits and hats and base tan. However, tragedy strikes when you get sun poisoned and have an inflamed lip five times the original size of your actual lip and a swollen eye. Although it can be rare to see, some people get sun poisoning. Sun poisoning is a severe sunburn that occurs after exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays for an extended time. Unlike other sun allergies, sun poisoning usually requires medical treatment to prevent further complications.
