They went to pick up the new puppy and broke the car
Few experiences are more exciting than going to pick up your new puppy. This man was indeed too exhilarated about the whole scene. The good news is that everything went well, and the new pet was in their hands before long. Too bad the return trip did not go as smoothly.
On the positive side, the puppy got an interesting name and a story to go with it. But we cannot help feeling second-hand frustration for them. Pumping gas into a diesel car is one of the worst mistakes you can make since it can ruin the engine.
