The babysitter used to threaten her
Both parents and babysitters develop their own methods to get children to behave. At times the threat of an unpleasant experience is helpful to get a kid to do what you want. This woman’s babysitter seems to have used that tactic often when she was young.
Behave, or you will get the rusted hole seat. That is quite an original threat, and it seems she went through with it sometimes. We will not judge the babysitter for her methods, but we are unsure if her car was up to the latest safety standards.
