Broken windshields wipers were not a problem anymore
This next story is another example of how to DIY your way to a functioning car. In this edition, the windshield wipers were malfunctioning, and since it is not a good idea to drive in the rain without wipers, this man’s mother wrangled up a temporary solution.
They are called “analog wipers” and are powered not by electricity but by manual labor. We expect they could not realistically delay taking the car to get fixed for long, but it sure shows creativity and inventiveness in the face of hardship.
