Crème de Abacate: A compromised guacamole

Avocados are a popular fruit in the Americas. Infused in and enjoyed with many different cuisines and dishes, avocados are one of the most versatile ingredients in their kitchen. It can be used in a lot of dishes, even eaten raw with salads, or can be pureed into smooth guacamole. Now the ways of serving an avocado may vary. One thing that remains common in most everyday dishes is that avocados are usually found on the saltier, spicier side of the menu. However, you would probably find avocados on the dessert menus in the Southern regions.

While you may have heard of avocado-flavored ice cream and avocado smoothies, Brazilian avocados have appeared in many strange dishes. However, one of the best ways to enjoy these Brazilian delights is by blending fresh avocado flesh into a pulp to make Crème de Abacate. Along with the main ingredient, some like condensed milk and fresh lime juice are also used to make this unique recipe. It looks extremely fresh and appealing. Have it chilled or even use it as a pastry filling!
