The twin cannot speak at their sibling’s funeral
Awful families are a species of their own. They seem to want full control of the funeral and who is allowed to speak. This person, for example, had just lost his brother, but the people in charge of the organization did not think he was an important orator.
This man had probably already prepared a nice speech to give, which cannot be an easy thing to do in this situation. But the rest of the family simply skipped over his turn, as if they were more important than the person’s brother.
