Asking for donations at a funeral is not appropriate
Funerals are expensive. We all know that. But if you have supportive friends and family, they will most likely donate to cover the cost. And if they really have your back, they can also help you get back on your feet financially.
All the attendees at the funeral probably thought this man was the best son a mother could ask for. After all, he had thought of a way to help her through these hard times. But apparently, he only cared about himself.
