Emotions can make us lose track of time. Getting excited about an event can freeze us or make us act crazy. We bet Kate was looking forward to the prom too much because she was ready to go a week earlier.
Jokes aside, it must have sucked when she found out she would need to get her hair and makeup done once again in a week. She should either get herself a calendar or learn to do her hair and makeup!
