J.K. doesn’t only stand for Just Kidding
This tweet is just hilarious! You may be too young to remember it, but there was a time when people used to sign their texts because messaging apps didn’t exist. This person had a friend whose initials were J.K. You can imagine the rest.
As you know, “JK” is usually interpreted as “just kidding.” So our buddy J.K. must have had a terrible time when these abbreviations became popular. Imagine having all your texts (including your prom proposal to your crush) interpreted as a joke. We feel for him ─but also, LOL.
