We have learned from movies and series that a big gesture is the best way to get the girl. Natalie’s prom date reminds us of Ted Mosby from How I met your mother, who steals a blue French horn to impress his crush. Natalie got her car filled with balloons instead.
But real life is not like in the movies. If that was the case, Ted would have also ended up surrounded by cops and held at gunpoint. We wonder if the person in Natalie’s tweet got the girl in the end.
