The king and the queen, and the most awkward ballad
Once upon a time, a brother and a sister were so popular among their friends that they got chosen for prom king and queen. Isn’t it weird that these royal titles are awarded through a vote? Isn’t that democracy instead?
Given that the prom king and queen aren’t required to be in a romantic relationship and don’t even need to go to prom together, the only fail in this story (and in every prom) is the honoring title. People’s vote does not choose royalty.
