Taking the phrase, ‘you are fired’ to another new and painless level
I’m pretty sure this meme was made by a coalition of employers in collaboration with an HR team. For working adults, the term ‘you are fired’ is a recipe for prolonged unemployment. But there are craftier ways to dish this out; one of these ways is ‘you’re being let go.’
Another response challenged the other term, which was supposed to receive a unanimous reaction. In the end, the challenger realized the importance of processing information before releasing it onto the world wide web. And yes, smarty pants, it is promoted and not demoted, get used to these terms.
