These falling phone booths look like best friends
While it may be surprising that payphones still exist, an estimated 100,000 are still left in the US, with roughly a fifth of them located in New York. Of course, they’re meant to be used in the event of a dead cellphone battery or an emergency.
This pedestrian saw two falling booths and didn’t miss the opportunity to draw funny faces on them. In their imagination, the one on the right is laughing at its companion for hitting the ground, like a friend who pokes fun at you when you’re a little too clumsy.
