This statue is shaving its armpits
In addition to being funny and imaginative, acts of vandalism have the power to showcase two historical periods’ cultural differences. In this case, someone gave an old statue a modern object that people use frequently.
The statue’s architect could’ve never imagined that a person would modify their work of art several years later by placing a razor in one of its hands. This art intervention is equally silly and thought-provoking, as it shows a contrast between two very different lifestyles and beauty standards.
