This statue was skateboarding way before Tony Hawk
Just like the artist who vandalized a statue with a pink razor, this person also added a modern twist to an old sculpture. On this occasion, a man made of stone is about to impress everyone with his skateboarding skills as if he was a 19th-century Tony Hawk.
The man on the right corner wearing a white t-shirt has a skateboard, so perhaps it was him who placed that item under the statue’s foot. He better watch out, though. The defiant look on the sculpture’s face suggests it doesn’t fear being challenged in a competition.
