A haunted van in the middle of nowhere
Finding someone in a deserted location far away from civilization can be a relief; at least you aren’t as lonely as you expected to be. And, if things go wrong, you know you can have someone to ask for help, but what if the help is the scary part of your camping horror story?
Finding a van where nobody enters or leaves in a deserted place should have been a suspicious warning for these guys. Luckily, they had their dog, or who knows what danger awaited them while they were asleep!
