Easy-peasy
People of different race groups react differently in horror movies. For some reason, Caucasians are willing to go down the path of certain death just to get to the bottom of everything. It’s a ridiculous trope, but we’ve seen far too many white guys die at the hands of murderers because of their curiosity.
As for people from other race groups, you’re doomed. There’s no way around it. Even if you’re white, there’s no guarantee that you’ll make it to the end of the movie, let alone being a person of color. Sorry, folks, but them’s the rules in horror movies.
