Outstanding move
Another classic horror movie trope is a person (usually a woman) slowly wiping the steam off of her bathroom mirror after inexplicably taking a shower at night. She’s in her most vulnerable state (naked) while standing in the most dangerous room (slipping and cracking her head). And to make matters worse, the serial killer is always standing behind her.
This person found a completely different way to handle the situation. Instead of doing the old wipe-steam-off-of-the-bathroom-mirror act, just turn around like you do in real-life. That way, you get to see the murderer face-to-face before he brings the machete down.
