A slap in the face
Little things with our buddies, which otherwise don’t even seem significant or embarrassing, suddenly turn into a puddle of shame when it happens in front of a crowd or when people are watching. This happened between these teammates when a slight misunderstanding ruined a high five and possibly a friendship.
As we said, they wouldn’t have thought much about it if the same thing happened in their locker room, but with a change in the environment, the feelings that emerged changed drastically.
