When your date’s parents are embarrassed by your car
There’s nothing worse than your ride giving up at the last moment, when you needed it the most, and having to deal with the situations that follow. As if having to pick his date up in his mom’s station wagon wasn’t already embarrassing, there came his date’s parents, who just added salt to the injury and inflicted a fatal wound on his self-respect.
Ever heard someone subtly say things that they didn’t even say out loud yet? This was probably the day this dude heard his date’sparents say things about him and their daughter’s date. We’d melt into a puddle if we were in his place. Not to mention that returning home by 9 pm robs them of the entire fun of the night!
