Choose your sides wisely
Well, this happens a lot. We make plans to meet with someone, pick a landmark where both of us are supposed to meet, and when the day comes, you are right at the place but can’t spot your date anywhere. Did they ditch you at the last moment? Was it a prank after all? Did you make the mistake of agreeing to go out with them? As all these thoughts race in your mind, you get a text asking how long it will take you to get there.
Quite astonished, you learn they’ve been waiting for a while, but you can’t find them anywhere. Where could they be? You search extensively before realizing they are where you were supposed to meet, just on the opposite side.
