Waitlists help restaurants with their organization. These lists contain details about the customers who make reservations, such as their name, contact number, and estimated waiting time. Since waiting is boring, @seamirac1979’s dad loves to have fun by giving a fake last name every time he writes down on a restaurant waitlist.
From what we can read, the Twitter user is tired of her dad’s joke. It appears that he’s been doing the same lame prank for years, and it’s no longer funny. We feel sorry for the poor hostesses who had difficulty pronouncing the weird surnames this guy came up with.
