The acorn family
Children are very creative and have an active imagination when they’re young. Thanks to that, they tend to humanize any inanimate object they come across. They give names, personalities, and emotions to any item they develop a special relationship with. Some kids get as far as creating an acorn family, like @mills__elise’s sister.
This Twitter user’s sister loved her acorn family so much that she even held a funeral for a dead acorn. We can imagine the kid making a small gravestone for the dead acorn and burying it in a small hole in the garden. The image is so cute and sad at the same time…
