This family takes it time to pass food dishes
When it comes to passing food around the table, the basic etiquette is that you should do it in a counterclockwise direction. But that’s not always the case. Every family has its own rules. For example, @margefootball’s family has the weird habit of passing things “the long way,” as they call it.
We can only imagine how strange it must be to have dinner with this family. You ask them to pass the salt and spend five minutes watching it travel from hand to hand until it reaches your spot. The situation indeed becomes funny once you get used to it, but it must be irritating at first.
