This company had an unfortunate gesture toward their employees
There is no easy way to get up every day and go to work during a pandemic. Times like his can be quite scary, and we must be thankful that essential workers make this immense effort. But this is not the way to show gratitude.
We all agree that workers should be fairly compensated during moments when they are literally putting themselves at risk for going to work. Yet giving them just a thermal mug with a thank you note printed out is a cringe-worthy attempt at that.
