Have you ever been asked by your parents to do something really absurd that you didn’t understand at that moment? Later it strikes you that it was probably because your parents don’t see eye to eye with one of your neighbors, and the beef between them drove your parents to involve you to teach them a lesson.
People don’t understand how unethical and bad it is to drag your children into your fights. What’s more, children don’t tend to argue with any of those weird requests because they fear disappointing their parents. And the acts committed in such circumstances end up being something that haunts them as they mature, like pooping on your neighbor’s door!
