Just how rare it is that the person you like secretly likes you back too? Quite rare, right? Happens pretty much in one in a million chances. However, when two of these guy’s friends turned out to have a crush on each other, despite knowing the truth, he chose to remain silent because they asked for it after all.
Moreover, this makes sense because since they were bullies toward him, we don’t see how he would do something good for them in turn. But gosh, only if they had been nice towards this guy, it would have been much different.
