At the time of this picture, Elle Fanning was already a star. So, she knew how to create a jaw-dropping look. Her glamorous dress looked like it was made for the red carpet and not for high school halls (because it was).
Elle couldn’t go to the prom because she was promoting a film back then and had to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Her prom date was kind enough to fly out to see her and do a photoshoot with her to share a fond moment.
