Distracted
Parents are usually heroes for their children: those who can do everything and do everything well. But at some point, that magic ends, and we reealize that they are human beings just like us. That can happen after some attitude or anecdote where they show us. Has it ever happened to you?
To her, it did! And it was when she saw (or was told) about her parents’ wedding. When her father got up after kneeling before the preacher, he stepped on his mother’s dress! Who would make such a mistake? We do not doubt that some laughs must have appeared, and maybe they had to clean the dress up.
