Doing something goofy is the last thing you’d want to do accidentally in a serious setting like a funeral. While everyone is already stunned and immensely sad, mourning the loss of their loved one, you couldn’t expect anything less than a spot in hell if you end up clumsy.
You especially don’t drop the dead man’s casket at his funeral. No, it doesn’t help cheer things up; unlike movies, real-life scenarios have consequences. This dude was probably never invited to any family function ever again.
