The hospital is probably the only place where passing tests usually brings grief rather than joy. The entire aura of the hospital buildings feels unsettling and uncomfortable, probably because of the negative emotions associated with the place.
Amidst all that, waiting to hear your test results after a short trip to the emergency room is probably when the time feels to stretch and minutes feel like days. Why was this person admitted? Was it something very serious? Was it fatal or chronic?
