We’ve already discussed this, but it is not the actual moment of being caught in the act but the anticipation that the accident might happen or has happened. It’s a moment like these that send a shiver down our spine.
Just like this case, the actual act of getting shot was probably less terrifying for this user than realizing he couldn’t feel his legs and might not be able to walk anymore.
