One of the classic scenes from horror slasher movies is when the killer is chasing the campers in the forest, and all of a sudden, one of them sprains their ankle. While there might not be any psychopath lunatic hunting down this Redditor in the woods, breaking your ankle in the middle of nowhere is horrifying.
Especially when your vehicle is parked almost a mile and a half away from where you are, there is no other way to walk to that location. We can’t imagine the intense pain and courage it would have taken to drag himself somehow to his vehicle. The dog’s support proves dogs definitely are man’s best friend!
