In West Virginia, a tree was covered by colorful crochet
Public artistic interventions are a very polarizing topic. While some people believe them to be a natural right every citizen has regarding the space they inhabit, others point to their subjective or undemocratic nature. This is an example of an artist’s work on a West Virginia tree.
They dressed this tree in Morgantown with a blue, yellow, and orange crochet design. It was probably up to the neighbors who live near the park to decide whether they enjoyed and wanted to keep this funky look for a plant.
